Terms & Conditions
Products are supplied subject to the company's terms and conditions of sale. Hill & Hill Design reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
All finished goods remain the property of Hill & Hill Design until paid for in full.
Hill & Hill Design can not be held responsible for any issue where the products have been used in application other than for which they were intended.
The placing of an order with Hill & Hill Design will be taken as acceptance of our terms and conditions.
To avoid confusion, telephone orders will not be accepted.
Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it. All orders are subject to availabitity.
Made to measure products and made to order upholstery are made in accordance with your requirements and specifications.
where you supply the measurements for a made to measure product we rely on the accuracy of those measurements.
We will not ne liable for any inaccurate measurements or incomplete information provided by yourselves.
Changes to orders can only be accepted in writing. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to refuse supply any individual or company.
Faulty goods may be replaced at the sole discretion of the company. We ask that you take reasonable care of the products while your claim is being investigated. Please do not return any products you feel may be defected to Hill & Hill Design before contacting Hill & Hill Design.
Products must be inspected at time of delivery and a delivery note signed accordingly.Any defect shortage, damage or error must be reprted to Hill & Hill Design in writing within 7 days of delivery.
You must give us (and any carrier) a fair chance to inspect any damaged goods.
All delivery dates/ times are estimates only. Multiple product orders may be delivered separately.
Our delivery vehicles are large. Please chaeck that they can gain safe and ample access to or immediately adjacent to the delivery address.
The delivery crew will not remove doors or windows in order to attempt delivery.
Any visable damage to the products or your property caused as a result of deliveryy must be reported to Hill & Hill Design immediately.
We will not accept liability for visable damage unless reported to the carrier on delivery.
Risk and title
The goods are at your risk from the time of delivery.
We cannot be held responsible for shrinkage to curtains exposed to temperature and humidity variations
Fabric shades may vary slightly from one printed batch to another, this will be more apparent if orders are placed at different times.
Furniture and Upholstery information
As part of the design, some furniture is hand finished to appear distressed. This will vary between products and is not a defect.
As all upholstery can be affected by light, we reccomend that it is positioned away from direct sunlight and heat to protect it from fading and premature wear and aging.
Fitting areas should be clean and free from all aother trades and their equipment in order that the fitting may proceed with continuity. A charge will be levied for any wasted visits.
Placement of furniture (subject to access) is available at an additional cost POA. Hill & Hill Design will not be held responsible for any access problems. Placements in rooms does not include fitting any items such as mirrors or headboards. In this case standard fitting charges will apply.
Installation is available for furniture at an additional cost POA.
Legislation, standars, production and test methods may dictate change within the lifetime of a product. Hill & Hill Design reserve the right to amend specifications accordingly.
Retention of title.
The property and ownership of all goods and materials wheter fixed or unfixed will not pass until payment has been made in full.
Payment is strictly cash on delivery or otherwise in cleared funds before delivery.
Despite the retention of title of goods, we have the right to take legal proceedings to recover the price of the goods supplied should you not pay us by the due date.
If the order is cancelled for any reason you are required to pay us for all stock (finished or unfinished) that we may then hold ( or which we are committed)for the order.You may not cancel the order unless we agree in writing.
We may suspend or cancel the order by written notice if you fail to pay us any money by due or you become insolvent.
If we are unable to perform our obligations to you because of circumstances beyond our control, we may cancel or suspend any of our obligations to you without liability. Examples of those circumstances invlude, act of God, accident, explosion, fire, flood, transport delays, strikes and any other industrial disputes.
