Are Your Care Home Curtains Looking Drab?

Historically, we have seen some rather sad sights when we see care home curtains. The blue paper style curtains, used for infection control. Drab beige to keep the colours simple. Off white to let the light in. We’ve seen our fair share of unattractive curtains. So why not spruce up your care home curtains!

Think Colour

Just because you are a care home, does not mean that all colour has to be taken away. Pale yellow and beige are not the only colours that you can use! Believe us! The use of colour should not be shied away from. And actually, your residents might love the change and the bright colours.

Think Patterns

Not everything needs to be plain colours. While we see this is often the case in care homes, it doesn’t hurt to add some patterns to the mix. And curtains are the ideal place to try this!
You can change the dynamics of a room by simply changing the curtains. This is particularly the case when you add a pattern into the mix.

Care Home Curtains

As with the rest of the soft furnishings in a care home, it is important to ensure that they are flame-retardant and easy clean.
The fabrics that we use make for flame retardant curtains. This can help to stop the spread of fire around the home. This fabric does not catch alight, as standard fabrics may, it merely smoulders. This helps to stop the fire from gaining height.
Alongside being flame retardant, our fabrics are also easy to clean to help the prevention of infection. We also offer Panaz fabrics, which are infection resistant, including Coronavirus.
