How do I order fire retardant curtains for my care home?

Simply browse through our selection of fabrics in the curtains section and click on the required size using the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you could call Jane on 01246591549 to order your made-to-measure soft furnishings. We are also happy to come and measure your windows for you. There is such a huge range of flame retardant fabrics on the market and it is impossible to upload every single one so If you can’t find a fabric you like on our website please call 

What types of Care home furniture do you supply?

Our furniture range is large and varied! From entire bedroom packages, to single chairs, we can help you furnish an entire care home, or simply supply you with a select few pieces. Our care home furniture is divided into a bedroom, dining, lounge seating and dementia furniture categories but these can be mixed and matched to suit the needs of your care home.

How quickly can you deliver my furniture?

Most of our furniture is made to order with lead times of 2-8 weeks. We hold some items in stock for express delivery with a lead time of between 5 and 14 working days depending on the delivery postcode. If you have an emergency furniture requirement please call us to see if we can speed up production or offer an alternative. We aim to produce our furniture as quickly as possible while upholding our high-quality standards. When you order from us we will keep in close contact with you as to the progress of your order and you will be notified of both dispatch and delivery. 

How much is delivery? 

Delivery charges vary depending on the item and your delivery postcode. There is an option for a delivery quotation for large items. We endeavour to reply to quotation requests within the hour.

Our delivery charges apply to mainland UK however please get in touch for a delivery cost for anywhere outside the UK.

What is your care home furniture made from?

Each of our products has a full description on its respective page, however, when you buy from any of our ranges you can be sure that all units are glued, dowelled and screwed with solid backs and soft rounded corners to prevent injury. 

Does the furniture come fully assembled?

Yes! This is one of our most asked Care Home Furniture FAQs. All of our furniture is delivered to your care home fully assembled for quick installation. Our delivery team can also place your care home furniture in situ and remove all packaging ( for a small extra charge) Please enquire when ordering about this service.

What is dementia furniture?

Do you supply room finishings?

Here at Care Home Furnishings, we stock a selection of accessories to make your Care home feel as comfortable, stylish and homely as possible. This includes mirrors, pictures and silk flower arrangements. You can find these in our interior accessories category.

Do you supply fire retardant soft furnishings?

Yes! All our fabrics are fire retardant as standard and most can be washed at high temperatures for infection control. We know that safety needs to be taken into account when choosing nursing home furniture so we supply flame-retardant cushions and soft furnishings.
