Our feet are important to us throughout our lives. We spend countless hours on our feet, walking around, shoving our feet in and out of shoes. But how long do we spend caring for our feet?

National Feet Week

National Feet Week 2021 is taking place from the 8th to 14th March. This week is there to encourage the nation to pay more attention to caring for their feet. Each year a number of Podiatrists speak out about the importance of taking care of your feet. So why not take a seat and spend some quality time with your feet?

Your resident’s feet

When it comes to caring for our residents, we regularly get them checked over by doctors, dentists and any other routine check-ups that they require. Are you ensuring that their foot health is just as cared for?
Many of your residents may have limited mobility, so the care of their feet may get overlooked. However, they will have still spent a great number of years using those feet every day and could still benefit from regular foot care. So whether your team of dedicated carers are doing the rounds regularly checking everyone’s feet, or you have a podiatrist come in annually to give everyone a good check over, we strongly encourage you to keep an eye on those little piggy toes.

Off their feet
