INDI-STRUCT Open Desk

Thoughtfully designed furniture configurations maximise storage capacity without compromising valuable floor space, ensuring bedrooms remain practical, uncluttered and inviting.

To meet the varying demands of different care environments, the wardrobes are available with a choice of three heavy-duty hinge systems:

• Standard 270° hinges
• Full-length piano hinges
• Anti-ligature hanging rail
• Exclusive INDI 270° heavy-duty strip hinges, specially engineered to provide outstanding strength and durability while allowing wardrobe doors to open a full 270 degrees for improved accessibility and ease of use.

Manufactured to withstand intensive daily use, the Indi-Struct range is an ideal solution for secure healthcare settings, mental health facilities, specialist care environments and other locations where furniture must combine exceptional resilience with an attractive, homely aesthetic.

Our Robust indistruct wardrobe has been designed and manufactured to withstand the severe demands of challenging environments.

We have a range of extra tough care home bedroom furniture suitable for all ages designed to look as homely as possible yet strong enough to last.

Mental health centres need to create a welcoming and calm environment for their service uses whilst making sure that the furniture is durable and safe.

A common problem in challenging establishments is the fact that service users throw items of furniture at carers, Our furniture has reinforced carcasses and  extra weight added to prevent this from happening.

Sofas and chairs can be ‘boarded out’ in varying degrees to prevent damage to the furniture and injury with the service user.

The rugged Indi-Struct care home bedroom furniture collection is purposefully crafted to meet the unique demands of challenging behaviours in care homes, catering to residents with autism, learning difficulties, and other severe healthcare needs.

Every piece of Indi-Struct care home bedroom furniture designed for challenging behaviours adheres to rigorous standards, meeting BS4875, Parts 7 & 8 (2006) Test Level 5 for strength and stability in care home and other demanding contract environments.

Features include anti-ligature doors, drawers, and hanging rails. Drawer boxes are securely fixed and cannot be removed. Special hinges and anti-tamper fixings enhance the security features of the Indi-Struct care home bedroom furniture range designed for challenging behaviours.

These furniture units are exceptionally sturdy and durable, ideal for care homes and other severe healthcare settings. All Indi-Struct care home bedroom furniture models tailored for challenging behaviours come with a 5-year manufacturing guarantee.
